Thank you for your interest in becoming a carrier for Hansen & Adkins Auto Logistics, Inc. (HAL)
To become an approved carrier, your company must meet the following requirements. If your company is not in compliance with any of the criteria outlined below, you may return to completing the registration process once the necessary adjustments have been made.
Insurance Requirements – OEM (carrier can haul any vehicles HAL)Liability Insurance:
- General Liability: $1,000,000 (must be listed as "per occurrence")
- Auto Liability: $1,000,000
- Auto Liability coverage must include both "Scheduled Autos" and "Non-Owned Autos".
Cargo Insurance:

Equipment Size & Coverage Requirements:
- 1-3 vehicles: $150,000
- 4-5 vehicles: $250,000
- 6-7 vehicles: $350,000
- 8 or more vehicles: $500,000
- The cargo policy MUST include provisions for Constructive Total Loss (CTL or "diminished value"), without giving up the salvage.
Note: Hansen & Adkins Auto Logistics will NOT register with a carrier that has gooseneck trailers.
Insurance Requirements – Non-OEM (carrier is qualified to haul non-OEM vehicles only for HAL)Liability Insurance:
- General Liability: $1,000,000 (must be listed as "per occurrence")
- Auto Liability: $1,000,000
Cargo Insurance:

Equipment Size & Coverage Requirements:
- 1-3 vehicles: $150,000
- 4-5 vehicles: $250,000
- 6 or more vehicles: $350,000
Additional Insurance:
- A certificate of insurance must include Workers' Compensation or Occupational Accident Insurance for companies with more than one driving employee.
- A 30-day notice of cancellation or a signed endorsement is required for all insurance policies.
- Hansen & Adkins Auto Logistics, Inc will require that a registered carrier has their insurance company send an updated Certificate of Insurance listing Hansen & Adkins Auto Logistics, Inc as the certificate holder AND is listed as the additionally insured on the Auto Liability and General liability. Certificates can be sent to [email protected]. Certificates must come directly from your agent.
